Use this shot when:
- you feel you have exceeded your limit;
- you need a recharge (see also the recipe for "Shot in the absence of energy" );
- you feel like you're missing something your body needs, or you feel like you're running at idle;
- you have given so much of yourself that you feel you have nothing more to give
- you are overwhelmed;
- you turn to caffeine to focus and get energy;
- you feel like you're falling short and falling apart;
- you have an intolerance for your work or everyone around you;
- you feel like you're losing a part of yourself;
- you can't concentrate because you feel exhausted on all levels.
Ingredients:
- 1 cm piece of fresh ginger;
- 1/2 cup of compactly harvested pea sprouts;
- 1/2 cup compactly harvested alfalfa (alfalfa) sprouts;
- 1/4 cup fresh or thawed pitaya (red dragon fruit) or 1/4 cup peeled and sliced grapefruit;
- 2 raw medium asparagus stalks (1/4 cup chopped);
- 1/2 stalk celery.
Method of preparation:
Put each ingredient through a juicer in the order listed.
Pour into a glass and serve.
Amount for 1 to 2 shots.
ADVICE:
- If you can't find or don't like alfalfa sprouts or pea sprouts, you can use any kind of sprouts or microgreens in this recipe, such as broccoli, clover, sunflower, and kale. Each sprout will impart a different flavor to the shot. If you decide to use radish sprouts or mustard, keep in mind that this will make the shot very spicy.
