For this healthy recipe, millet or gluten-free oats are used , to which is added the secret weapon - wild blueberries. These little purple gems offer an explosion of flavors and aromas, and their healing properties for the liver and the rest of the body are truly miraculous.
Wild blueberries contain dozens of undiscovered antioxidants, including varieties of anthocyanin. There is not just one pigment inside the wild blueberry – there are dozens of pigments that have yet to be studied or researched. The wild blueberry is to the liver as mother's milk is to the baby. Wild blueberries not only have the ability to trap many pests, but also successfully flush them out of the liver in a way that most other healing foods cannot. The pigments in wild blueberries have the ability to soak deep into liver cells and pass through cell walls and membranes, spreading their characteristic blue throughout. Wild blueberries strengthen the intestinal tract by nourishing the good bacteria there, which is of great benefit to the liver.
