All types of heavy metals, including copper, mercury, lead, and aluminum, enter the body during conception, pregnancy, birth, or after birth. People can also become infected with heavy metals later in life from pesticides that contain heavy metals, metals in kitchen utensils, old copper pipes, and many other sources. Heavy metals are passed down from generation to generation, which is one reason why children have heavy metals in their bodies when they are so young. These metals are poisons in themselves. Worse still, they tend to oxidize, which leads to even more serious problems, such as toxic waste that damages every tissue in its path and disrupts the pathways of electrical impulses.
