Aronia is a bush-like plant from North America, which is now grown all over the world, even in our country. Dragon Superfoods organic chokeberry powder is produced from entirely organically grown Bulgarian chokeberry.
The tart black fruits of chokeberry are one of the strongest antioxidants. They are high in flavonoids, trace elements - potassium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron, boron, copper, iodine and manganese. Aronia is also rich in fiber, phytonutrients, carotene, vitamins A and E, as well as the extremely rare vitamin P (rutin).
