Although grapes are shunned because of their high sugar content, we should think about it. It is this sugar content in grapes that helps revitalize the liver. It is a true longevity food that increases the liver's efficiency in every one of its more than 2,000 chemical functions. The fruit acid unique to grapes is a great gallstone dissolver – think about that the next time you eat a grape instead of worrying about whether it has too much sugar or will make you gain weight. Weight gain is the last thing grapes create.
