Option B: a month of detox from toxic heavy metals
What to add
The following healing drinks can be added back into your normal lifestyle by incorporating them into your meals and snacks. While a smoothie can replace a meal or snack, you don’t have to go all day on these products alone. Make sure you’re fueling yourself with enough food so you don’t go hungry. Also, keep in mind that whatever type of eating philosophy you follow, you’ll want to make sure that some of the healing foods and supplements we’ve already shared with you are part of your daily routine to give yourself the best chance of a quick and effective recovery.
- Drink about a pint of celery juice every morning on an empty stomach. (Make sure you drink fresh, pure celery juice, with no other ingredients. For instructions on how to make it, see the article “How to Make Celery Juice” . If you are sensitive and a pint is too much, start with a smaller amount and increase it. Celery juice is a healing drink, not a caloric one, so you will still need a snack afterwards to fill you up in the morning. Just wait at least 15 minutes after drinking celery juice before consuming anything else.)
- Drink a heavy metal detox smoothie every day. (This is a great option for breakfast. If you don’t like all the heavy metal detox foods combined into one drink, include all the individual ingredients in other meals throughout the day. You can find spirulina in tablet form if you don’t like the taste.)
- Drink about half a liter of water with lemon or lime at noon or early afternoon. (Squeeze the juice of half a lemon or lime into half a liter of water.)
- In the late afternoon, drink about half a liter of ginger water . (If you are traveling and cannot prepare fresh water, take a dried tea bag with you to make ginger tea.)
- Drink approximately half a liter of aloe vera water or cucumber juice every evening. (See here for instructions on making fresh aloe vera water . If you choose cucumber juice , use it neat or strained with a little parsley or coriander if desired. If you are traveling and it is not possible to make aloe vera water or cucumber juice, try drinking an additional glass of water with lemon in the evening instead.)
What to avoid
- Give up the unproductive foods that we described in the article "Which foods to avoid in thyroid diseases" : eggs, dairy products ( including milk, cream, yogurt, cheese, kefir and ghee ), gluten, rapeseed, corn, soy and pork.
- During this month, avoid consuming tuna, swordfish, and sea bass.
How are you being treated?
This month you will receive all the healing benefits of the previous liver, lymph, and bowel cleansing month, add the antispasmodic and antiviral support of ginger, and flush out the toxic heavy metals that are EBV 's favorite fuel from your body.

While they are healthy fats, you need to make sure you leave room for other healing foods.
