Fructose in bananas is a favorite food source for the liver. It provides quick fuel for the liver and awakens dormant cells, increasing their ingenuity and efficiency. Banana soothes the lining of the intestinal tract and also soothes the nerves associated with the intestinal tract. Contrary to popular belief, bananas are one of the most antibacterial and antifungal foods. They are a great food to combine with other nutrient-dense foods like the sprouts, seaweed, herbs and onions in this recipe, or to take with supplements because they improve the liver's ability to absorb nutrients.
Ingredients:
- 4 sheets of nori
- 2 cups alfalfa (alfalfa) sprouts, divided
- 4 sprigs of green onion
- 4 bananas (or 4 steamed potatoes, roughly chopped - see Tips)
- Atlantic Dulce Flakes, to taste
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro (optional)
Method of preparation:
Place a sheet of nori, shiny side down, on a cutting board with the long end toward you. Arrange 1/2 cup sprouts, 1 green onion, 1 banana (or 1 sliced potato), dulce scallions, and cilantro (if using) on one end of the sheet.
Brush the other end of the sheet with water, then roll it into a tight roll. Cut it in half and repeat with the remaining ingredients. Serve immediately.
Portion for 1-2 people.
Advices:
* If you prefer, you can make these nori rolls with steamed potatoes instead of bananas – just don't use bananas and steamed potatoes at the same time. Nori rolls with stewed potatoes would be best eaten in the evening, some time after any fruit, snacks or meals. They are also a good choice for easy eating anytime after a cleanse. If you like, you can squeeze some fresh lemon juice over the rolls.
