Fresh oregano tea
Ingredients:
- 1/4 tsp. loosely picked, chopped fresh oregano;
- 180–240 ml of hot water (purified or spring);
- 1 tsp raw honey (optional);
- The juice of 1/2 lemon (optional).
Method of preparation:
Place the fresh oregano in a cup. Pour over the hot water. Let steep for 15 minutes and strain the liquid. Add raw honey and lemon juice to taste (optional). Serve immediately.
Portion for 1 person.
Water with fresh oregano
Ingredients:
- 1 tsp. loosely gathered, chopped fresh oregano;
- 1 liter of water (purified or spring);
- Juice of 1 lemon (optional).
Method of preparation:
Place the fresh oregano in a tall jug. Fill the jug with water. Let it sit for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight. When serving, add the lemon juice (optional).
Serving size for 1–2 people.
