Creamy ice cream with healing properties? Exactly! This delicious chaga ice cream is made with bananas and a little almond or coconut milk to make it creamy. With the addition of organic chaga powder and warming spices like cinnamon and cardamom as desired, you have a delicious and truly healing ice cream that you can enjoy as a snack, afternoon snack or dessert!
The Chaga mushroom strengthens the liver while reducing the toxic heat that the liver develops while under stress and burdened by pests. It also supports and strengthens the adrenal glands, which in turn also leads to the strengthening of the liver, making it a more difficult environment for pathogens such as viruses and bacteria to survive. "Smetanov" ice cream with chaga
Ingredients:
- 3 large bananas, sliced and frozen
- 1/2 cup coconut milk or unsweetened almond milk
- 1-2 tsp. organic chaga powder
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ground cardamom (optional)
- 1 tsp non-alcoholic vanilla extract or a dash of bourbon vanilla
To serve:
- 1 tbsp. chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Method of preparation:
Place the bananas, coconut milk, organic chaga powder, cinnamon, cardamom and vanilla in a food processor and blend until smooth and creamy. If necessary, add a little more milk. Serve immediately, garnished with crushed nuts or place in the freezer for 1-2 hours for a firmer texture.
Portion for 1-2 people.
