Welcome the New Year with this lightly carbonated, refreshing champagne cocktail. Coconut water and lime juice not only give this drink a great taste, but also provide the necessary hydration, glucose and minerals. Add pomegranate seeds for a more festive feel.
Coconut water has the ability to hydrate the body at a deep cellular level, making it an essential drink for athletes and people who lead a hectic and active lifestyle. It has also been shown to help balance pH levels, strengthen the immune system, aid the kidneys in filtering toxins, and reduce the risk of kidney stones. Coconut water is also extremely beneficial for cardiovascular health, as it can help lower blood pressure and promote healthy circulation. It is also a vital drink for those who suffer from chronic diseases such as migraines, sinusitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), fibromyalgia, asthma, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), cardiomyopathy, Crohn's disease, epilepsy , hypertension, multiple sclerosis , Parkinson's disease , hypothyroidism, arthritis, lupus and chronic fatigue syndrome.
The antioxidant flavonoids in limes are another ally in the fight against disease. And when you're fighting a cold, flu, bronchitis, or pneumonia, lime is one of the most effective expectorants you can find. Lime is also an amazing liver, kidney, spleen, thyroid and gallbladder cleanser. It cleanses the many toxic substances we collect from exposure to plastics, synthetic chemicals, radiation and poor food choices.
