The key to the recipe for this brightly colored, healing dessert is to use well-ripened papaya, which is sweet and delicious and, when mashed, turns into a creamy, thick pudding.

When someone's intestinal tract is nervous from inflamed nerves caused by pests throughout the intestinal lining, papaya soothes those nerves, allowing the inflammation to decrease. This improves the absorption of nutrients in the bloodstream to go to the liver. The red-pigmented phytochemicals in papaya allow liver cells to become more flexible so that the liver can function optimally.
Ingredients:
- 1/2-1 large Maradol variety papaya, diced.
Method of preparation:
Place the papaya in a blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
Portion for one.
ADVICES:
- It is important to use only non-GMO papaya. The Maradol papaya is a large non-GMO variety.
- Make sure you only use ripe papayas – you want the fleshy part to be scrapable with a spoon. You can usually judge ripeness from the outside when the skin turns orange or yellow and yields to pressure with your thumb (like a ripe avocado).
