Medicinal properties of aloe vera

Aloe vera is known for its soothing properties when applied externally to burns, cuts, scrapes, bruises, insect bites and especially sunburn. When taken internally, fresh aloe has a much wider spectrum of action. If you're into enemas and gut health, include aloe vera in your life – consuming it alone is a colon cleanse. Aloe is a great remedy for constipation.

Aloe vera also has more than 70 trace elements that are grouped into undiscovered medicinal compounds. These compounds work together with the phytochemical aloin to calm inflammation in the gut, making it a great helper for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), Crohn's disease, and colitis . This anti-inflammatory nature rejuvenates the appendix as well as the ileum – a critical part of the intestinal tract, as it is where the body produces vitamin B12 when the digestive system is functioning normally. That's not all – as aloe repairs the ileum, it also supplies a highly bioavailable form of vitamin B12 , making it a versatile vitamin B12 enhancer.

Aloe vera has antibacterial, antifungal (including anti-mold) and anti-parasitic (including anti-worm) effects. It is extremely useful in destroying the pathogens that create colon cancer, stomach cancer and rectal cancer, as well as eliminating Helicobacter pylori and helping the pancreas. Aloe also has the unique ability to help stop the growth of polyps and reduce the growth of hemorrhoids. And if you are worried that you have been exposed to radiation, turn to aloe – it has beta-carotene in combination with lignins, which remove radiation from the body.

Consumption tips:

Drink aloe water every day:

Mix 2-4 centimeters of fresh aloe gel (without the peel) with half a liter of water.

You can eat the gel directly or mix it into smoothies.
